Procedures
The EVE DIAPOL® RA W14D is used during the final step of polishing in dental restorative procedures:
Restoration placement and shaping: After fabricating and placing the restoration (e.g., crowns, inlays, or veneers) made of Feldspar Ceramic, Lithium Disilicate, or Zirconia, the surface is shaped and prepared for polishing using coarse and medium-grit instruments.
Polishing system workflow:
Step 1 (Coarse polishing): Removes surface irregularities and prepares the restoration for subsequent steps.
Step 2 (Pre-polishing): Smoothens the surface further, enhancing the preparation for the final high-shine polish.
Step 3 (High-shine polishing): The W14D twist-shaped instrument is used to achieve a brilliant, mirror-like finish on the restoration.
Operate at a speed of 7,000 to 12,000 RPM for optimal performance, while not exceeding the maximum speed of 20,000 RPM.
Inspection: Following polishing, the restoration is inspected for a uniform, smooth, and glossy surface that mimics the natural appearance of enamel.
