Procedures
The EVE DIACOMP® PLUS RA - Set RA 344 is used during the finishing and polishing stages of composite restoration procedures:
Preparation and shaping: After the composite restoration is placed and cured, the surface may require shaping and preparation for polishing.
Initial polishing (Medium grit): The medium grit polishers (DCP-W11m, DCP2m, DCP3m, and DCP-OFm) are used for contouring and smoothing.
This step removes surface irregularities and prepares the restoration for fine polishing.
Final polishing (Fine grit): The fine grit polishers (DCP-W11f, DCP2f, DCP3f, and DCP-OFf) are used to create a high-gloss, enamel-like finish.
The final step enhances the aesthetic appeal by ensuring a smooth and reflective surface.
Inspection: The restoration is evaluated to ensure the finish is consistent with the natural appearance of the surrounding teeth.
