Finger Spreaders | 25mm | Pack of 6 Files
Tax excluded.
Description
Finger Spreaders are precision endodontic instruments used in root canal procedures to laterally compact gutta-percha or other obturation materials into the root canal system. These tools are specifically designed for effective manipulation within the root canal, ensuring complete obturation while minimizing the risk of voids.
This product comes in an assorted pack of 6 files of varying sizes (15, 20, 25, 30, 35, and 40), each measuring 25mm in length, making it versatile for different canal widths and anatomical variations.

Procedures
Finger Spreaders are utilized during root canal therapy as part of the obturation process:
Cleaning and shaping: The canal is cleaned, shaped, and prepared using files and irrigation to remove debris, infected tissue, and bacteria.
Trial fit of Gutta-Percha: A master gutta-percha point is selected and trial-fitted into the cleaned canal to ensure proper fit and length.
Lateral compaction: Finger Spreaders are used to laterally compact the master gutta-percha point against the canal walls. The tool creates space for accessory gutta-percha cones, ensuring a tight seal.
The process is repeated with appropriately sized Spreaders (15–40) based on the canal's dimensions and taper.
Final obturating: The accessory cones are compacted to fill the root canal system, minimizing voids and ensuring complete sealing.
Post-procedure inspection: Radiographs or other diagnostic tools are used to confirm that the canal is well-filled and sealed.
Key Benefits
Wide range of sizes: The assorted pack includes sizes 15 to 40, accommodating various canal widths and providing versatility for different clinical cases.
Optimal length: The 25mm length ensures the instrument can reach the working length of most canals, enabling effective obturation even in deeper or longer canals.
Precision and control: The ergonomic design of the Finger Spreaders allows for precise manipulation and lateral compaction of gutta-percha, ensuring a tight seal against canal walls.
Enhanced sealing: Facilitates lateral compaction, reducing the risk of voids and enhancing the sealing ability of the obturation material, leading to better long-term outcomes.
Durable construction: Made from high-quality materials, these spreaders resist wear and deformation, ensuring consistent performance across multiple procedures.
Convenience: Packaged with 6 spreaders in assorted sizes, the product simplifies inventory management and provides a ready-to-use variety for different canal anatomies.
Improved treatment success: By enabling thorough and accurate obturation, Finger Spreaders contribute to the long-term success of root canal treatments by minimizing reinfection risks.
