Luxcryl PGA Sutures are synthetic, absorbable, braided, and coated multifilament sutures

Materials: made of polyglycolic acid (PGA). The sutures are coated with polycaprolactone and calcium stearate (1%) to ensure smooth passage through tissue and secure knot placement.

Tensile strength retention: These sutures are designed to provide reliable tensile strength during the critical healing period, retaining approximately 70% of their original strength after 14 days and 50% after 21 days. Complete absorption occurs via hydrolytic action within 60 to 90 days.
